With the start of a New Year comes new opportunities and new beginnings. New hopes, new ideas, new dreams, new plans and often New Years Resolutions – New Year – New You! Have you stopped to think about the year ahead and perhaps some health goals for 2017? How often do we make grandiose resolutions or plans but fail to meet them which creates discouragement and despair. Here is a way to have success in reaching your goals and seeing permanent change.
At Body of Life Health Centre, we encourage you to make one habit at a time which allows integration of your new discipline into your daily life without it being overwhelming. Habits take time to create and the benefits of those healthy habits can take even longer to take effect but stick at it and you will see long term change!
What will be your healthy habit you will create in 2015?
- Drink more water each day?
- Eat less processed food?
- Source local, organic produce?
- Research the best oils to use for cooking & implement it?
- Start walking three or four times a week?
- Create a healthy sleep pattern?
- Reduce your alcohol content?
Make 2017 the year you made lifestyle changes that you continued! Do it. Just chose one. Make a plan & stick to it. Then choose another. Your health is worth it!
